NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOo
The Prince George Cougars have acquired F Spencer Asuchak, 18, from the Tri-City Americans for a 2010 WHL bantam draft choice. The 6-foot-4, 210-pound Asuchak, who turned 18 on Sunday, is from Kamloops. He has four points in 12 games with the Americans this season.(Drinnan)
THIS SUCKS SO HARD I CAN'T PUT IT INTO WORDS.

Help DS wtf is going on. Do you think they are making room on the roster to get another player? Only thing I heard was they got a 13th round pick in return.
ugh, wish I knew. this move shocks me a lot. I can see moving someone to trim the roster, making sure guys are getting playing time not sitting in the stands, but IMO should not have been someone with the size and ability of Spencer. Yes, I'm completely biased, I adore the hell out of that kid, but still. He was a big body.
I despise to say that people on the MB might be right, but I agree that it was a bad move to get rid of Spencer. Makes the team smaller. I'm sorry, but Cody Castro is not the answer.
Thanks for the response I know very little about the whl but in all other sports leagues you make trades to try to make your team better sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesnt but Spencer for a 13th round pick will not make the team better. Even if it was to clear roster space they could have just released a less talented player. I am so pissed!
When my Dad called me today, he asked me if Bob had had a "f#@*ing stroke or something?"
Uh, maybe. Bad move, Bob. You're killing me here.
I wish you best of luck, Spencer. I will miss you (and your adorable dimples) a whole bunch!
Maybe this is karma payback for the lopsided Yellowhorn and Fadden trades. A 13th round pick is total crap.
Seriously, Mestery was a complete mystery to me...he played here before, I remember because I shuddered everytime he touched the puck. Asuchuk traded for what???? This is almost as good as picking Sam Bowie instead of Michael Jordan back in the day. Show me the ace up your sleeve Bob...please?
happy birthday, spencer.
love,
bob
