Clay-ton Sto-ner clap clap clapclapclap
I know, I know, I said this was going to be posted like 2 days ago, I fail. Oh well.
In case you missed it, former American defenceman Clayton Stoner got called up to the Minnesota Wild. I've kept track of him with the Houston Aeros thanks to the fabulous Ms.Conduct (at her site and at The 3rd Intermission). Anyways, in his couple games with the Wild, he's certainly proved himself and has shown what a stud he is. Check it out:

Elsie over at 18,568 Reasons Why has her introduction to Stoner here. (thanks for the link too Elsie!)

What's funny (to me anyway) is that Stoner and Stone fought in the A recently, too. And by recently, I mean, recent enough that I remember it. Last season, I guess.
Guess they weren't finished or just really enjoyed the zen of Stone vs. Stoner.
Love this kid. He's from my hometown and, coincidentally, the home town of Willie Mitchell. What are the odds of two kids from a logging town of 2300 people making the NHL? Must be something in the water.
I admit I posted that fight video on my blog just because I thought Stone vs. Stoner has to be the fight of the year name-wise (I did see the AHL one too).
I also can't help but think jerseys that say STONER could sell fairly well...
