Player recap--Mason Wilgosh

Oh yeah, I have a blog. And I'm not finished with player recaps. Guess I'd better do that, eh?

Next up is Mason Wilgosh.  What doesn't this kid do?  He's gritty, he's hardworking, he's a terrific defensive forward, outstanding on the penalty kill, and he can even score some goals every now and then.

I am of the opinion that Mason Wilgosh is one of the more underrated players on the team.  He plays like he's 6'5", 250 pounds.  He plays like he's a Dustin Byfuglien-built player.  As you can see by the photo, he can talk some shit too.  I snapped that one between the benches during the Vancouver series when he was talking smack with some Giant.  Or the whole Giants bench.

Wilgosh is like Drew Hoff.  Does everything and does it well.  He knows his role on the team and he works his tail off to achieve success.
