Player recap--Todd Kennedy

I really don't have much to say. I wasn't impressed when Kennedy arrived, as a 19-year-old in the league I expected better/different stats. I wasn't particularly impressed with his play, I think he was supposed to be a Boogaard-type player, but Boogie had talent (granted, he didn't use it enough, but still).

Todd played a whopping 10 regular season games, spent the rest of the time injured or suspended.  I didn't really miss him.  He came back in time for the playoffs, played (suited up for) 22 games, had one really stellar game where he got 2 goals against Chilliwack, couldn't wipe that smile off his face for probably a good week.  He played better, smarter, in the playoffs, though not a ton of ice time.

After the playoffs ended, Todd and Riley McIntosh were released by the Americans so not in the mix for an overage spot next season.  Look, he is a nice kid, just not my favorite hockey player.

Kennedy's Look-Alike is Paul Stanley, member of KISS.  Apparently, according to Google image search, he's undergone plastic surgery, but here he is pre-surgery:

hey, it was this guy or Joey Fatone.

Somewhat related, I was visiting my parents last week and my mom and I were going through some boxes in the basement of stuff she'd saved from me and Sister's childhood.  One of the things I found was a composition (writing) notebook from 4th grade.  Note from my teacher said:
Dave Schultz needs to work on thinking about others feelings and writing things in a way that will make people feel okay about themselves.
Obviously, I never learned.
