Happy Thanksgiving!!
It's Canadian Thanksgiving today so I hope the boys are loading up on turkey and all the trimmings.
Most deserving of a massive feast after last night's performance? Ty Rimmer.
No. 2 star: Ty Rimmer, Tri-City Americans (WHL)
The Americans-Portland Winterhawks rivalry is no environment for a 16-year-old rookie goalie such as Eric Comrie. Well, maybe it is on some nights, but not Sunday. The Ams turned to Rimmer and he came through with a 43-save shutout against a Winterhawks team that boasts some high NHL picks, helping Tri-City post a 4-0 win over a division rival. Adam Hughesman also chipped in two goals for the Ams. (Buzzing the Net)
Interesting they say the rivalry is no place for rookie Comrie, but apparently the rivalry against the Chiefs was ok. Oh wait...no it wasn't.
More turkey eatings go to Hughesman, Shinny, Rankin, Feser. Ahh hell, they all deserve a smorgasbord of deliciousness. Hey, that's a Swedish word. Maybe a smorgasbord is exactly what my dear Malte needs to get the puck in the net.
Looking around the dark corners of the internet, I gotta say, Shinny sure knows how to piss of opposing fans. I've said it before, I'm glad he plays for the Ams or I'm sure I'd hate him too. Dear Shinny, UR doing it right.
